Skinny Lister Drops ‘Songs From The Yonder’ – Out 9 May 2025
Folk-punk favorites Skinny Lister are back. Their new album, Songs From The Yonder, arrives on 9 May 2025 via Xtra Mile Recordings. Fans can expect an energetic mix of foot-stomping anthems and heartfelt ballads.
New Single: “Plough On”
The band kicks off this exciting chapter with “Plough On”, a song about pushing through life’s challenges. Inspired by Billy Bragg and Elvis Costello, the track delivers a bold message of resilience.
Lead singer Dan Heptinstall shares:
“‘Plough On’ is about overcoming obstacles. It’s also a reminder that better days will come.”
The melody includes a nod to “Speed The Plough”, a tune from the band’s early days. By blending old and new sounds, Skinny Lister stays true to their folk roots.
