New Christmas Release from The AM Band ‘Freedom in the Air’

With yet another beautiful release we introduce you to the AM band who have recently 

released their new single Freedom in the Air. The single was originally recorded in 2002 from their album entitled  “A Global Carol”. Based loosely on an adaptation of Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol, The album was recorded in the famous Metropolis Studios and Abbey Road Studios. 

Featuring a beautiful London based choir, Freedom in the Air contains a mixture of soul vocals that creates an atmosphere of elegance to the song. Andy Mitchell joins the choir on lead vocals, defining the AM Bands sound.. The single Freedom in the Air is now being released to publicise Two Christmas Just Giving appeals for The Red Cross Africa Famine Appeal and A Rocha International Rainforest Charity.

This campaign is to raise money and awareness of the plight of people in the horn of Africa who are undergoing yet another drought that is leading to the deaths of millions and is a direct result of Global climate change, much of which has been caused by man-made emissions.

Freedom in the Air by The AM Band is now available on all major streaming platforms including Spotify and Apple Music.
