REVIEW: Latest Single! ‘Lightning’ from Chicago Band, The Footlight District

Chicago-based band of siblings, The Footlight District, have just released a new single, and you definitely do not want to miss out. Their latest single, ‘Lightning’, came out 9th September, and is yet another great piece of music from TFD, who have pleased fans all over the world time and time again, and with ‘Lightning’, it’s no different.
Following up on the success of previous releases in ‘Hush’ and ‘War Paint’, The Footlight District set themselves up perfectly for a song of the calibre of ‘Lightning’ – a song that introduces itself with perfectly brash guitars, rocking drums and powerful vocals. With each member executing their role perfectly, they create a wholly unique sound that could quite easily stand side by side with some of the best alt-rock we’ve ever heard. With a single like ‘Lighting’, The Footlight District have yet again raised the bar for their already very high standards, stamping themselves as a band that requires your attention. With a plethora of good releases and a promising future, you’re going to want to add this to your playlist.
Having already impressed with their run of releases, it’s safe to say that The Footlight District have done it again – hitting another homerun with their unique style and sound that leaves fans wanting more and more from them.
